Antique Majolica Plate 8.5” Grape Leaf Cobalt Blue Scalloped Edge Unmarked NICE!.
There are no chips or cracks. There are the tiny marks on the bottom where it set to be glazed (I think that’s the stage at which it happens?)
It is painted and glazed on bottom. I could not see any markings.
It is cobalt blue with a very large central green grape leaf and peeking out from under the leaf is a pale yellow basket weave.
Purchased from a collector’s estate sale.
